How I use AI

Using AI well is going to matter in this industry, and I lean on it heavily already — this site itself was built with substantial AI assistance. But I don't think that replaces fundamentals: I make a point of understanding why something works before trusting it, rather than just accepting whatever an AI produces. My home lab is partly where I build that underlying understanding, by actually diagnosing and fixing real infrastructure problems rather than only reading about them — the writeups above are evidence of that, not just the AI-assisted parts of this site.

Qualifications

I'm at the start of formal qualifications, and treating this section as an honest work in progress rather than overstating it. I'm planning to pursue a recognised Linux certification (RHCSA) alongside the practical work here, starting from where I actually am rather than claiming progress that hasn't happened yet. I'll update this page as that moves forward, with real evidence tracked the same way as the rest of this site.
